BIO

Their
motto is 'Music for Damn Near Everybody'. Blessed with an abundance of
musical skill, this three-piece classic rock cover band plays and sings
a wide variety of music from the 1960's to 2008. The members have a rich
and varied history both seperately and together.
The Feeder Band started a few years ago in a little Irish pub called Rooney's
Public House in West Palm Beach, Florida. The frenetic party atmosphere
in the area known as Clematis Street with all it's pubs and trendy restaurants
lent itself nicely to the style of the band. This was where The Feeder
Band started to grow it's grass roots following, playing at Rooney's 4
nights a week. The band originally started with Kevin Kelly, Charley Lugo
and another guitarist but soon found an extremely talented replacement
in Guitarist/Keyboardist/Vocalist Gene Minix. 12 years previous, Gene
and Bassist Kevin Kelly had played together in a regional touring group
called Canaveral, but when Gene came back to South Florida after living
in Indiana, the final lineup was cemented. Now the band could really dig
in. 2007 brought another ex-Canaveral member back to the band: a tremendously
talented keyboardist named Dante Polizzi.
With Charley Lugo on Drums, Gene Minix on Guitar, Kevin Kelly on Bass,
and now Dante Polizzi on Keyboards the Feeder Band has it's sights on
recording a new CD of original material in 2008 as well as continuing
to play at many of the finest venues in the South Florida area.
