MARINO, HOOTIE SINGER CATCH UP AT SUNFEST

...After their show, Darius Rucker and the rest of Hootie and the Blowfish headed to Rooney's on Clematis for a little after party and joined the house group, The Feeder Band, for a few tunes before heading back to the bus for the long drive to Greenville, SC for a concert tonight.

BACKSTORY

Darius Rucker came up to me while I was singing 'The Joker' by Steve Miller and said "Hey, can I sing this one?" to which my response was "Hell yeah! Take my mic PLEASE!". Then Mark, Hootie's guitarist, came up too and played Gene's guitar for a few songs.  So, basically on stage it was Me, Gene, Charley, Darius, and Mark for about 3 - 4 songs after which they got off stage, continued back to the bar and stayed all night til close.  Then the Hootie guys had to go back to the bus and we all said goodbye. What a cool night for The Feeder Band!
